The 41st Annual Festival of the Arts is happening on August 3-4. This festival brings nearly 150 vendors from around the country and is a Flathead Valley favorite. From jewelry to photography, clothing, and more, everything is hand made and sold by the makers. The event takes place in the historic Bigfork Villages, so make sure to visit our unique shops and galleries while you are here. To find out more, click here.   August 12 brings the 5th Annual Flathead Lakers Poker Paddle. The Flathead Lakers are a non-profit dedicated to education and the protection of Flathead Lake. The Poker Paddle is a non-motorized poker run departing from Bigfork Bay. Bring your kayaks, SUP, canoes or swimming ability and take on a 2, 3 or 5+ mile course collecting poker cards along the way to make the best hand. Following the poker paddle is a free lunch for participants along with live music by Mike Murray and a silent auction. The after-party at Brookside Yard is open to everyone. The Poker Paddle is the Flathead Lakers largest fundraising event of the year.
